Josh and I decided to try and have a camp out in our back yard to see if the kids where ready to actually go camping. Papa Beck let us borrow his ward tent and helped Josh set it up, so by the time it was all set up it was way past the kids bed time and everyone was fighting so me being the coolest mom ever brought out there little TV and DVD player and they all fell fast asleep. I on the other hand had a hard time sleeping since our lovely cat Jax kept trying to get in and I am allergic to him so I kept sneezing and wheezing so by 2 am Noah and Logan woke up crying and I made my escape to the house, Josh and the 3 other kids slept all night. So I guess you can say I am not ready for camping:)It was fun for the older kids though.

Family camp out!

Don't worry about being "not ready". That's the best part about camping in the backyard, you are there when the kids go to sleep and then you can sneak into your cozy bed and have it all to your self!
